Serving Vietnamese food and cocktails in the heart of Butchertown, we offer familiar classic and modern dishes with a unique bar program that’s sure to grab your attention. Our space is made for you to feel like you’re in an open air market in Vietnam. With a large patio and vibrant colors all around, you’ll surely be transported into another world here at MoonDog.

Our menu highlights familiar vietnamese dishes such as phở, bánh mì, and vermicelli noodle bowls. We also offer more modern Vietnamese dishes such as our garlic noodles and Vietnamese hot chicken. There’s plenty of options for anyone to enjoy whether you are familiar with Vietnamese cuisine or are curious to try something new. Our kitchen opens for lunch and dinner all the way until midnight.

Our bar is a celebration of Vietnamese flavors, crafted into something entirely new. We have craft cocktails that highlight ingredients popular in Vietnamese culture and also the first space in Kentucky to carry spirits from Sông Cái - Vietnam’s first artisanal distillery. A local draft beer selection and a curated wine selection will make sure that there is something to enjoy for everyone.
